We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic I/II to join our team at Mono County, CA. As a Paramedic I/II, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services, including basic life support and advanced life support treatment, to victims of accidents and medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical services, including basic life support and advanced life support treatment, to victims of accidents and medical emergencies.
- Work at assigned stations with a partner on a 48-hour shift.
- Perform medical treatment and assist in patient extrication from vehicles involved in traffic collisions or accidents.
- Respond to emergency calls, including rescues, fires, and medical emergencies.
- Complete run paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Successful completion of an accredited paramedic school.
- Ability to obtain possession of a valid paramedic accreditation from ICEMA prior to employment.
- Minimum of six months of previous full-time paramedic experience and a minimum of six months of employment with Mono County as a Paramedic-I.
- Possession of a valid paramedic license from the State of California.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Possession of a valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) card from the American Heart Association.
- Possession of a valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) card from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) card from the American Heart Association.
- ICS and NIMS training: ICS-100b, ICS-200b, IS-700a, IS-800b.
