Job Summary:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is a vital member of our team, responsible for collecting quality blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric care, as well as strong communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing, following established procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for patients
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification, required in California, Nevada, and Washington
  • Minimum 6 months experience, with 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment, preferred
Work Environment:

This role is a 40-hour per week position, working weekdays from 8am-5pm. The ideal candidate will be flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
