Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician

Ryder is seeking a skilled Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse automation equipment, including conveyor systems, sorters, and packers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems with other warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse automation maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and sensors, as well as experience with programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
