About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to join our team at Garud Technology Services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and self-driven professional to manage a portfolio of projects valued at over $10M annually.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing mid-sized portfolios, with a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in program management. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. You will also integrate and coordinate all activities needed to execute requirements, including timely identification and resolution of issues, effective management of subcontractors, overall customer satisfaction, and professional and ethical behavior.

This is a hybrid schedule position with an expectation to report into one of the offices located in the National Capital Region. U.S. Citizenship is required, and ability to pass DHS Background Investigation is necessary. A minimum of a Secret Security Clearance at time of hire is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage entire portfolio in accordance with established ISO and CMMI processes and procedures.
  • Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.
  • Develop and maintain an effective Project Management Plan and Quality Control (QC) program to include a schedule of deliverables and monthly reporting requirements.
  • Manage Profit / Loss contract responsibilities.
  • Support Business Development opportunities that are related to the individuals assigned contract and personal expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience specifically supporting projects for DHS
  • A minimum of ten (10) years' recent and relevant experience managing a mid-sized portfolio.
  • Microsoft Office product proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
