About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services Department Manager to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
  • Lead staff training, quality control, and in-servicing to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Coordinate and ensure the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work
  • Conduct regular tours of the building to assess work quality and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with building occupants, administrators, and HCSG staff to ensure seamless operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two years' experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision desired
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers
