In the role of a machine learning engineer, you will be responsible for training, testing, deploying, and maintaining models that learn from data. Your proficiency in conducting statistical evaluations on business operations using ML methodologies is crucial, making you a vital contributor to delivering client-centered solutions. You will take ownership of defining the trajectory of mission-critical solutions by employing optimal ML algorithms and technologies. You will engage with a broad network of ML engineers across the organization and work alongside data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to create world-class solutions that provide mentorship, training, and address real-world challenges. You will process vast amounts of data and perform A/B testing on statistical models, ML algorithms, and systems. Your advanced consulting capabilities and extensive technical knowledge will assist clients in navigating the complexities of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks. Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in data science, software engineering, ML engineering, or relevant postdoctoral research
- Experience in deploying ML models
- TS/SCI clearance required
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with natural language processing and large language models (LLM)
- Experience in developing software architectures utilizing containerization tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with databases, particularly SQL
- Knowledge of ML techniques, including linear, reinforcement learning, tree-based, or deep learning methods, along with regularization strategies
- Experience with the RAG framework
- Background in software development, including API development or database management, and model deployment using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Ability to operate in a Linux environment with bash scripting
- Master's degree preferred
Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
