Job Description

Govini is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new features and capabilities for our flagship product, Ark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers to assess the engineering cost and potential business value of proposed product investments.
  • Partner with the sales team to evaluate opportunities and understand customer requirements.
  • Communicate with technical customer decision-makers to discuss the capabilities of the Ark and how it can be configured to meet their specific needs.
  • Identify and evaluate new product features and functionality for Ark through embedding with customers.
  • Assist with the scoping, pricing, and capture of contracts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
  • Experience working closely with customers.
  • Strong proficiency with backend API languages such as Java/Spring Boot or equivalent and Javascript/ReactJS.
  • Intermediate proficiency with SQL.

Desired Skills:

  • Current possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one with our sponsorship.
  • Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing, and optimization algorithms.
