Industrial Sales Specialist

Overview
Horton, Inc., a global leader in airflow solutions, is seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to join our team based in Roseville, MN. This role will focus on selling Horton products to Oil & Gas customers, requiring a strong understanding of client needs and requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in customer-facing sales or application engineering, with a degree in Engineering or equivalent. Strong knowledge of OEM and business development, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry, is preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and recruiting new customers for Horton products: Identifying potential clients through market research, networking, and trade shows. Initial targets include compression leasing companies, compressor packaging companies, and energy end-users who own or lease gas compressors.
- Retailing existing Engine OEM's and Distributors: Ensuring customers are informed about products, pricing, and innovations through personal visits, phone calls, social media, and other means as needed.
- Developing relationships with client staff: Building trust and open communication by creating social opportunities for interaction and advocating for customer interests when issues arise.
- Collaborating within Horton to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize relationship value: Teamwork across functional boundaries to share information and develop timely solutions for customer problems.
