The Team: You will be an integral part of the APAC agribusiness consulting division, operating from a regional office that serves both commercial and governmental sectors. This newly established and diverse group collaborates with agribusiness consulting experts globally and works closely with other teams in areas such as energy transition, bioenergy (including feedstocks, biofuels, and biomethane), chemicals, and economic assessments. We deliver project-based economic and business consultancy services to organizations engaged across the entire agribusiness and bioenergy sectors. Our team is proficient in all facets of food and agriculture, encompassing agricultural inputs (fertilizers, crop protection, seeds, machinery) to agricultural commodities (crops and livestock) and bioenergy, including policy and trade considerations.
The Impact: This role offers the chance to be at the forefront of our consulting research and analysis, collaborating with experts worldwide to address economic, business, and policy challenges in agribusiness, decarbonization, and energy transition. Your contributions will assist clients in enhancing food production and security, advancing sustainability and decarbonization efforts, and developing innovative clean energy solutions, while also supporting our organization's mission to create unique intellectual property in this field.

Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing your specialized knowledge to support client projects
- Collaborating with a team of consultants on large, complex projects; independently executing and delivering smaller projects
- Working across different geographical areas within agribusiness consulting and other consulting groups
- Being adaptable in taking on projects in various agribusiness sectors
- Extensive experience in agribusiness and/or bioenergy (gained through roles in industry, consulting, technology firms, or government) in areas such as agricultural inputs, commodities, bioenergy, decarbonization, sustainability, and related policies
- A post-graduate degree, likely in agriculture, business, or economics
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities; proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus
- Highly organized and creative skills, with proven time and project management capabilities
- A demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and navigate complex organizational structures
- The capacity to lead and manage teams when necessary
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to generate leads and drive sales
- Solid leadership qualities and the ability to work independently without direct supervision
