Safety Leadership Opportunity:
Fairlife, LLC is seeking a skilled Sr. Director of Safety to join our team and drive a culture of safety excellence. As a leader in the dairy industry, we understand the importance of safety and are committed to preventing injuries. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to implement a comprehensive safety strategy and achieve globally recognized standards.

We are a Chicago-based nutrition company that creates great-tasting, nutrition-rich dairy products. With nearly $3B in annual retail sales, we have a portfolio of delicious, lactose-free, real dairy products. Our team is passionate about innovation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a company-wide safety strategy and report progress against milestones.
  • Establish programs to continuously identify and fill safety gaps.
  • Achieve compliance with local OSHA and Coca Cola KORE standards.
  • Support the CTO and Engineering Business Unit to develop technical safety standards for equipment and processes.
  • Monthly reporting meeting to track progress and address concerns.

Requirements:
  • 15 years of diversified safety experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Technical expert in risks, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of safety regulatory requirements.
  • Certifications in Safety (CSP) and Industrial Hygiene (CIH) highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree related to environmental, health, and safety.

What We Offer:
$175,000 + salary base pay* range, full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Travel requirements: 50% to 70% to production facilities or office locations.
