Position Title: Certified Medical Assistant - Integrated Health Services

Overview:

We are looking for a proficient and committed Certified Medical Assistant to become a vital part of our Integrated Health Services team. This role encompasses providing extensive medical and administrative assistance within a vibrant healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary medical assistant certifications and have experience in a clinical atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

  • Conduct surveillance examinations, including hearing conservation and thermal stress assessments.
  • Utilize medical equipment and perform necessary testing; assist with case management tasks such as scheduling and documenting patient interactions.
  • Prepare and escort patients, monitor vital signs, administer immunizations, perform phlebotomy, and conduct drug/alcohol testing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all medical interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR) system; support health fairs and wellness initiatives.
  • Provide assistance during medical emergencies and treatments as required.

Administrative Duties:

  • Coordinate medical appointments, manage incoming calls, and handle medical requests efficiently.
  • Monitor and comprehend components of surveillance and employment examinations; organize meetings and manage documentation.
  • Oversee clinic supplies and equipment, perform quality control testing, and ensure adherence to safety and licensing standards.
  • Facilitate communication and documentation among various stakeholders; manage vendor accounts and financial transactions.

Corporate Support:

  • Assist with corporate programs and projects, including data collection and meeting coordination.
  • Provide administrative support to remote sites and perform additional tasks as directed by the Global Medical Leader.

Qualifications:

  • MA Certification: Mandatory
  • BLS Certification: Mandatory
  • CAOHC Certification: Desirable
  • BAT Training: Desirable
  • NIOSH Certification: Desirable
  • Experience in Drug & Alcohol Collection: Desirable
