MRI Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
Sigma Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients. Your primary duties will include:
- Preparing patients for MRI procedures
- Operating MRI equipment to capture clear images
- Monitoring patients during scanning and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI imaging
- Siemens Scanner experience
- Phlebotomy and Outlook skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- EMR (Charting System) experience with Epic
- ARRT and CPR certifications
Responsibilities:
- Explain MRI procedures to patients and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Position and sedate patients as needed to capture clear images
- Remove and replace IVs and catheters for MRI procedures
- Operate MRI equipment and position it to capture accurate images
- Monitor patients during scanning and maintain accurate records
- Monitor MRI equipment functions and ensure clear images for physicians
- Recognize abnormalities and irregularities in images
