We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at NavitsPartners. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures and ensuring the diagnostic quality of images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to perform imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring optimal imaging quality.
- Educate patients on imaging procedures and provide relevant instructions.
- Review patient safety questionnaires and follow MRI safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure proper imaging procedures.
- Assist with the administration of opaque media and use of power injectors under aseptic technique.
- Properly label and transmit images to PACS following department standards.
- Ensure cleanliness of MRI rooms and equipment, maintaining necessary supplies.
- Accurately record patient information in IDX (Radiology Information System) and schedule exams.
- Monitor equipment for needed repairs and report unsafe conditions.
- Adhere to infection control policies to prevent the spread of infection.
- Attend in-service and professional development meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- New York State License (L.R.T.).
- NY State IV Certification.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), MRI certified.
- BLS certification.
Working Conditions:
- Hours Per Week: 37.50
- Days Per Week: 5
- Hours Per Day: 7.5
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Additional Requirements:
MRI ARRT certification required.
