As we continue to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who share our love for pets to join our veterinary technician team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Collaborating closely with our receptionists and veterinarians, you will help create outstanding experiences for our clients and their beloved pets.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to clients and their pets.
  • Managing examination rooms and maintaining accurate digital records.
  • Handling and restraining patients with care.
  • Administering medications and preparing prescriptions.
  • Performing venipuncture and placing intravenous catheters.
  • Conducting digital radiography.
  • Carrying out in-house and external laboratory tests.
  • Assisting with dental cleanings and radiographs.
  • Providing pre- and post-operative care.
  • Conducting technician appointments for vaccinations, nail trims, and other routine procedures.
  • Answering phone inquiries and assisting clients with scheduling and health-related questions.
  • Interpreting veterinarian instructions and protocols to work independently and educate clients.
  • Completing assigned projects with a positive attitude.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in small animal care is preferred (current coursework may be considered).
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology, supplies, and procedures is essential.
  • Confidence in your skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and staff.
  • Professional phone etiquette and a pleasant demeanor.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in an environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credentials are a plus.
  • Ownership of pets, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • A desire for professional growth and advancement opportunities.
