Customer Engagement Specialist

The Retail Sales Consultant plays a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience by fostering a customer-centric environment. This position is dedicated to promoting a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and product knowledge, ensuring that our core values are integrated into every aspect of store operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Performance:
- Achieves sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing in-depth product knowledge with customers.
- Stays informed about ongoing promotions and maintains visual merchandising standards.
- Ensures adherence to merchandise handling and presentation guidelines, while supporting loss prevention efforts.
- Contributes to visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly displays and maintaining store zones.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Embodies and promotes the principles of exceptional customer service, delivering a seamless shopping experience across all channels.
- Addresses customer inquiries and resolves issues promptly.
- Facilitates a smooth checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, promotions, and returns.
- Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
- Engages customers in loyalty programs.
- Develops and nurtures a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product offerings both in-store and online.
- Utilizes customer relationship management tools to maintain ongoing communication with clients.
Operational Support:
- Assists in replenishment efforts to ensure product availability.
- Supports order fulfillment processes.
- Participates in visual merchandising tasks, including display setups and signage placements.
- Helps maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Team Collaboration and Development:
- Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving within the team.
- Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to adapt to company-provided technology.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Regular attendance is essential to meet business needs, with flexibility to work various shifts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Regular climbing as part of daily responsibilities.
