Job Overview

Weigand Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the South Bend region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business development efforts, identifying new opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including RFPs and RFQs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Lead community involvement initiatives and promote Weigand values
  • Manage and establish the business development budget
  • Oversee a regional network and support internal and external business development efforts
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitors
  • Prepare for sales calls and execute on commitments to clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 4+ years of proven business development or client relations experience
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and industry practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
