Job Description

At Hydrite, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Water Treatment Account Manager to join our growing team.

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and maintain a sales territory, focusing on business development and sales growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining a sales territory to achieve annual performance goals.
  • Obtaining new business by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Protecting and growing existing business by providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Improving gross margins by implementing cost-saving measures and optimizing sales strategies.
  • Performance Measures: Changes in volume, margin, revenue, margin per unit, margin %, account retention, and new business.
  • Surveying plants to determine best-in-class solutions and offering unique chemical programs for customers.
  • Effectively managing time and territory to maximize productive activities.
  • Writing timely chemical treatment proposals and service reports.

Requirements:

  • College education and prior sales experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience or industry management.
  • Ability to construct a business plan with Sales Manager assistance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and have an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Must possess computer skills and be proficient at Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and job specific software.
