The Associate Director for Alumni Relations will play a crucial role in executing the College's Alumni engagement strategy. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to increase alumni volunteerism and donations, while also fostering strong relationships with the Alumni Association.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Alumni engagement strategies to meet the College's Strategic Plan goals.
  • Serve as the liaison and guide to the Alumni Association, partnering with them to expand Alumni engagement.
  • Ensure effective coordination with internal teams related to Alumni Relations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Advancement team to promote contribution campaigns.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Alumni and external contacts.
  • Maintain accurate Alumni records and track donations using the organizational database.
  • Manage the execution, direction, and coordination of all Alumni events, including Alumni Association meetings, reunions, and open houses.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Development to manage various alumni events and initiatives.
  • Manage a portfolio of Sponsors and Corporate Partners that support alumni events and initiatives.
  • Meet quantifiable goals and contribute to the success of fundraising and special events.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in Alumni relations and external relations, with prior experience working in higher education preferred.
  • Strong organizational and persuasive communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Successful execution of projects in a timely manner.
  • Functional skills with Windows, Microsoft Office, Alumni Software, and Data Management Software.
  • Commitment to BCCC's mission and values.

Education Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree in Communications or Marketing, or a bachelor's degree in any field with community networking experience. Master's Degree preferred.
