As a Parts Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, including both shop and field technicians. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers at the counter with parts sales by actively listening to their needs and providing suitable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding customer service to technicians by accurately identifying required parts through catalogs and our computer system.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all product offerings to effectively meet customer demands.
- Process parts orders efficiently for both phone and in-person inquiries.
- Respond promptly to telephone inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Locate and procure necessary parts in a timely manner.
- Ensure the parts counter and storage area are organized and clean.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Occasional requirements for stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking.
- Frequent need for talking, hearing, and close visual acuity.
- Repetitive motion involved in data entry is a regular requirement.
- This position is not significantly exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Training will be provided through our Case Web Academy, which includes both online and virtual components. Additionally, hands-on training will be conducted alongside one of our Parts Managers.
Skills and Qualifications- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with the processes of receiving, storing, and distributing parts and supplies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficient in operating basic office equipment such as phones, computers, faxes, and calculators.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of three years of experience in parts sales and/or counter operations is essential.
