Job Description

Eckerd Connects is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Administrator to join our team at the Boys Residential Academy at Yanceyville. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing educational policies, programs, and budgets that promote the educational development of each student and the professional growth of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of educational policies, programs, and budgets that align with Eckerd Connects' mission and goals.
  • Provide educational leadership to our residential programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
  • Supervise the delivery of educational programs, including curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community stakeholders to support student learning and program effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement a system to monitor, document, and analyze student performance and outcome data to inform program improvement.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Education Leadership or Education Administration from an accredited institution.
  • North Carolina Standard Professional II teaching license and Highly Qualified certification in a Middle or High School core subject area.
  • Three to five years of successful teaching experience, preferably working with at-risk youth and/or special education needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, supervisory, and analytical skills.
