Job Title: Education Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Administrator to join our team at Eckerd Connects. As an Education Administrator, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of educational policies, programs, and curriculum activities that promote the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of educational policies, programs, and curriculum activities that align with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide educational leadership to the residential programs by establishing a continuous educational improvement planning process that focuses on improving student outcomes.
  • Supervise the delivery of educational programs to ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.
  • Establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with students, parents, staff, and community stakeholders to support student learning and enhance the educational program.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, review, and evaluation of federal programs and grant projects.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Education Leadership or Education Administration from an accredited college or university.
  • North Carolina Standard Professional II teaching license required and Highly Qualified in a Middle or High School core subject area.
  • Three to five years of successful teaching experience working with middle or high school students who were identified as at-risk, and/or having learning difficulties and/or special education needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, supervisory, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
