About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vocational Specialist – Speech Therapist to join our team at Sunbelt Staffing. This is a full-time opportunity with guaranteed hours, offering a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Overview:

This position involves providing speech therapy services to students in grades K-12 in a school district near Manchester, Michigan. As a Vocational Specialist – Speech Therapist, you will work closely with teachers, staff, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech therapy into the classroom curriculum
  • Conduct progress monitoring and assessments to track student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress

Requirements:

  • Certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Michigan
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and administrators
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
