Job Summary

We are seeking an Installation Technician - Electrical & Wiring to join our team at the Upfit & Installation Center in Manchester, IA. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems, including installation, servicing, inspecting, and troubleshooting lights, electrical systems, and components. A strong understanding of standard wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and diagnostic techniques is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot lights, electrical systems, and components in heavy-duty work truck builds.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Deutsch connections, weather pack, butt splice, heat shrink, and general wire routing.
  • Perform diagnostic and repair work, reading schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and performing shop math.

Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • Associate Degree from Vocational/Trade school or equivalent work experience
