Position Summary
The Construction Utility Supervisor is a pivotal field role responsible for organizing and leading a team to execute construction tasks safely and effectively. This position operates under the general guidance of the Project Superintendent and requires proficiency in heavy machinery operation.

Key Responsibilities
· Oversee construction activities based on established priorities and project plans.
· Plan, organize, and direct the grading team.
· Develop schedules and monitor crew attendance.
· Assign daily tasks and responsibilities.
· Coordinate material quantities and delivery schedules, including trucking logistics.
· Ensure adequate labor and resources are available.
· Uphold safety standards and quality assurance throughout the project.
· Supervise machinery and equipment usage.
· Manage budget expenditures and ensure compliance.
· Address and resolve issues as they arise.
· Provide progress reports to management and engineering teams.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time role with standard hours from Monday to Friday, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including a lunch break. Flexibility in hours may be required, and the role may involve local or out-of-town assignments with overnight stays.

Travel Requirements
Local travel is primarily expected during business hours, with occasional out-of-area travel required. A valid driver's license is necessary.

Supervisory Duties
Responsible for delegating tasks to team members, setting deadlines, and adjusting work schedules as necessary to meet project timelines.

Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Demonstrated experience as a construction supervisor.
· Certification in a skilled trade (e.g., electrician, carpenter) is advantageous.
