Position Summary: As a Senior Tax Consultant at CRETE PA HOLDCO LLC, you will be instrumental in directing and managing all facets of our clients' tax compliance and strategic planning requirements. This role demands an experienced expert with a robust understanding of tax legislation, outstanding leadership capabilities, and a dedication to providing exceptional service to our clientele.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • CPA certification is essential.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in tax accounting, emphasizing compliance, research, and intricate problem-solving.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state tax statutes and regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly organized with effective time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capacity to work independently and think critically.
  • Must develop a working knowledge of proprietary software systems.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Ensure the timely and precise preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and various entities. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to guarantee compliance and reduce tax liabilities. Review and assess complex tax matters, providing insights to clients and internal teams.

Tax Strategy: Formulate and execute tax planning strategies to enhance clients' financial positions. Offer proactive guidance on tax ramifications associated with business transactions, investments, and other financial decisions.

Client Relations: Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary contact for tax-related inquiries. Collaborate with clients to comprehend their business objectives, providing strategic tax counsel accordingly.

Tax Preparation: Prepare and evaluate intricate tax returns for a diverse clientele, including businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Scrutinize financial records, reports, and statements to identify tax-related challenges and opportunities.

Team Management: Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals, offering guidance, support, and fostering professional growth. Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow and successful project execution. Collaborate with partners and staff to deliver cohesive and comprehensive tax solutions. Present final tax strategies and decisions to partners for endorsement.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular evaluations of tax workpapers, calculations, and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards. Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold the firm's commitment to excellence.
