Airport Lounge Attendant

About the Role
As an Airport Lounge Attendant, you'll provide exceptional service to customers in a premium airport lounge setting. Your primary focus will be ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every guest by maintaining a clean and inviting environment, providing efficient beverage and food service, and assisting with various operational tasks.
Your Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness and order within designated areas of the lounge, including tables and seating arrangements.
- Ensure that beverage stations are fully stocked and presented attractively, offering a variety of refreshments to guests.
- Prepare and maintain a well-stocked buffet featuring breakfast and all-day menu options, ensuring freshness and presentation standards.
- Contribute to a clean and sanitary workspace by cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, and clearing/resetting tables.
- Assist with the distribution of supplies and equipment throughout the lounge as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues in food preparation tasks, adhering to proper storage and handling procedures.
- Operate dishwashing equipment or assist with hand-washing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stocking food supplies.
- Attend mandatory training sessions on allergy awareness and foodborne illness prevention.
- Adhere to all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures to ensure food safety.
- Report any accidents or injuries promptly, following established protocols.
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Engage in regular safety meetings, training sessions, and hazard assessments.
- Attend designated training programs (both classroom-based and virtual).
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new tasks and contribute to the team's success.
We are seeking individuals who possess:
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 0 to 1 year of related experience in a customer-facing role within the food service industry. Prior experience in both high-volume and upscale settings is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- The ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
