Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Administrator to support the Air Force's U.S. Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System Extended (BICES-X) program in Doral, FL. This is an on-site position that requires no telework.

The successful candidate will provide expert-level advice and training to end-users and less-experienced network personnel, identify and resolve network incidents and problems, and establish network specifications and parameters for hardware and software compatibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and training to network personnel
  • Identify and resolve network incidents and problems
  • Establish network specifications and parameters
  • Evaluate and maintain voice, video, and data communications networks
  • Manage network usage and performance
  • Maintain network security and compliance with security policies
  • Participate in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards
  • Interface with vendors to resolve network outages and performance issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Completed CCNA certification
  • Meet DoD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access
  • Knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols
  • Knowledge of associated hardware, software, and equipment
  • Experience working with Cisco IOS software and hardware
  • Experience with network management tools and concepts
  • Experience with distributed network environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience of NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC)
  • Knowledge and experience with Juniper Junos OS
  • Completed CCNP Enterprise and/or CCNP Security
  • Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus series switches
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISR and Catalyst routers
  • Experience with firewalls and firewall rule sets
Pay Range

The Leidos pay range for this job level is $87,450.00 to $157,450.00.

The pay range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
