As the Vice President of Financial Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing corporate financial analysis, system integration, and data modeling, while also supporting budgeting cycles and collaborating with various members of the finance team and executives throughout the organization.

We are looking for a seasoned financial leader with extensive experience in corporate finance, ERP implementation, and change management to facilitate a transition towards a more streamlined and integrated financial system.

In this capacity, your focus will be on advising and assisting the VP of Finance in consolidating revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and enhancing forecasting and analysis, base cost planning, and ad hoc modeling.

This dynamic and high-visibility role requires a comprehensive skill set that includes financial acumen, process optimization, operational insight, and exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including IT, accounting, and operations, to ensure the System of Record aligns with organizational requirements.
  • In collaboration with the Corporate Finance VP, liaise with external vendors and consultants to guarantee effective ERP integration.
  • Facilitate Company Planning by working closely with General Managers, the Finance Organization, and other stakeholders to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Oversee the financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) for Insight, encompassing forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly management reporting by analyzing financial outcomes, identifying key trends, and communicating insights to senior leadership.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and spearhead various reporting initiatives, including decision support, metrics, and analytics.
  • Establish a premier annual and long-term business planning process, ensuring alignment between business partners and FP&A. This includes developing policies, processes, timelines, tools, and communication strategies.
  • Support quarterly management and Board reporting, ensuring high standards of quality, timeliness, and accuracy while highlighting significant business insights.
  • Assist with Investor Relations and Earnings Call preparations.
  • Continuously enhance processes, drive transformation, and elevate the quality of reporting across the corporation, business units, and corporate departments.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of finance experience in progressively responsible roles within the finance sector, leading to robust corporate finance and accounting expertise for strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Experience with integrated systems such as SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, or other ERP platforms.
  • Proven track record in managing projects across multiple systems.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and strategic articulation skills for diverse audiences; outstanding analytical and writing capabilities.
  • Experience in a public company setting.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with a commanding executive presence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, both in large and small group settings as well as one-on-one.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a consistent ability to produce high-quality work, particularly when presenting group analyses to C-level management.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with senior leadership in Finance and across functions.
  • Strong influencing abilities; assertive yet collaborative, fostering a team-oriented culture.
