STS Aviation Group is seeking a Lead Procurement Specialist to enhance our global sourcing and supply chain operations. This role is pivotal in supporting our operational needs in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

As a key player in our procurement team, you will oversee purchase orders, cultivate supplier relationships, and improve operational efficiency. Your expertise will guide the purchasing team towards achieving excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct purchasing and order management processes to maximize operational productivity.
- Ensure the precision of supplier and purchase order information within ERP systems, addressing any supply chain challenges as they arise.
- Perform material cost assessments, managing expenses and updating standards in ERP systems.
- Leverage material/commodity index models to analyze their effects on total ownership costs.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives and lead supplier warranty recovery efforts.
- Enhance performance and value realization through long-term supply agreements.
- Supervise supplier performance recovery and risk management, facilitating discussions and evaluations.
- Manage pricing adjustments and negotiate effectively with suppliers.
- Prepare suppliers for product introductions in collaboration with New Product Development, ensuring readiness for impactful programs.
- Engage in supply chain enhancements to reduce waste and optimize material flow.
- Participate in category council initiatives, providing mentorship to purchasing coordinators.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant procurement experience.

- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
- Relevant industry certifications.
- Prior procurement experience in a manufacturing setting.
