Join CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) as a Procurement Analyst and play a key role in designing, evaluating, and providing reports based on data related to sourcing, contracting, management, and performance of suppliers and vendors.
About the Role:As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers. You will work closely with the procurement team to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet the company's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, generate, review, and implement reports to support account, client, and global sourcing requirements.
- Prepare the results of reports along with their relative impacts on the business.
- Maintain data integrity of databases and make changes as required to enhance accuracy, usefulness, and access.
- Collect and rationalize data from many sources. Conduct thorough financial evaluation.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy. Use data from many sources to create a complete overview that includes improvements and recommendation(s).
- Prepare forecasts and investigate trends in general business conditions.
- Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Impact the quality of own work.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, asks questions and check for understanding.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from four-year College and/or University.
- Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training.
- Experience working with standard accounting systems reports and data feeds.
- Functional knowledge of procurement practices and requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Software. Ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Problem solving, mathematical analysis and knowledge of accounting preferred.
