Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Supervisor to lead and develop our Purchasing Team in the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services to achieve our financial and operating objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager and other departments to drive Supply Chain performance by improving supplier cost, quality, and lead times.
  • Negotiate and develop supplier relationships to meet daily production and customer requirements.
  • Facilitate and lead strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Support the removal of barriers to improve shipping and receiving costs.
  • Ensure continued employee growth and development.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of direct purchasing and sourcing leadership experience.
  • Experience with computerized purchasing systems, including EPR/MRP, with SAP experience desired.
  • Ability to deal and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to function with little oversight.
  • Effective communicator (verbal, written).
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Analytical/data-driven.
