Job Summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Software Verification and Validation Administrator to support the development and modernization of the CODIS application. This role will be based near Quantico, VA and will involve a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

Verify and validate the CODIS application using automated tests to ensure compliance with user requirements and user stories. Support the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Government Acceptance Testing (GAT). Maintain test cases, test databases, and automation scripts. Report and track code defects and issues. Provide suggestions for software testing improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 6-9 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of experience as a software test engineer on complex multi-tiered software
  • Creation of formal software test procedures/scripts
  • Development of test data for formal software test procedures/scripts
  • Peer review of software test scripts
  • Manual execution of formal software test scripts
  • Documentation of testing results
  • Identification and reporting of software bugs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop test plans and procedures
  • Experience with Agile project management approaches
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Experience with systems engineering
  • Clearance Required: Top Secret
