Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement test plans for security features
  • Communicate with developers, engineering program managers, and other QA engineers to build solid test plans
  • Develop detailed and methodical tests
  • Work with engineering teams to deeply understand their technology and develop test plans around it
  • Debug and report issues encountered during testing
  • Help triage the team's daily automation results
Requirements
  • 3+ years of iOS and/or macOS QA experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to independently investigate issues
  • Be creative and thorough when executing test cases to help find nuances in functionality of new and existing features
  • Strive for a superior customer/developer experience and be very detailed with thoughts, work, and process
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment
  • Ability to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently
  • Good understanding of software development and the QA life cycle
Preferred Qualifications
  • Test framework development experience
  • Experience with Objective-C and/or Swift

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
