About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Software Engineer to join our Secure Transports team at Apple. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of world-class cryptographic and secure protocols engineering.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience in systems or OS development using C and a strong understanding of recent developments and concerns with standard protocols such as TLS. You will be responsible for designing and implementing new techniques to protect users' privacy during web browsing, email, and secure messaging sessions, as well as investigating and implementing the next evolution in secure protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new security features and protocols to protect user data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy secure solutions
  • Investigate and resolve complex security issues and bugs
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 5 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Experience in systems or OS development using C
  • A genuine passion for creating effective and pragmatic transport security
  • A strong understanding of recent developments and concerns with standard protocols such as TLS
