Civil Engineering Group Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Group Manager to lead our team in the Silver Spring office of Toole Design Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse team of engineers, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in roadway and highway design, as well as a proven track record of managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of engineers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects
- Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables
- Developing and implementing project plans, including budgets and timelines
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Professional Engineering license in MD (or other Mid-Atlantic states)
- A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
- At least 10 years of engineering experience, including 5 years in a project management role
- Experience in roadway and highway design, as well as multimodal transportation planning
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders
