Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neuro Critical Care team at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.
Responsibilities- Provide continuity of care to patients from admission through discharge
- Work directly with attending physicians to provide exemplary care
- Obtain and write H&P, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Perform physical and neurological examinations, read and interpret imaging, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
- Write orders, perform procedures (central lines, arterial lines, intrathecal medications administration, and lumbar punctures), and communicate with patients and their families
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- ACNP or AG-ACNP certification
- Current licensure in the State of Georgia as an Advanced Practice Provider
- ACLS required
- NIHSS and Modified Rankin certified
- Previous ICU experience preferred
