WellStar Health System
WellStar Health System is currently in search of a skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our esteemed Neurosurgery team. This role will involve collaboration with our Interventional Neurology and Vascular Neurology/Stroke specialists.
The position encompasses a combination of In-Patient responsibilities and Out-Patient care. The work schedule includes one 12-hour shift per week, from Monday to Friday, with limited weekend and holiday obligations.
Applicants must possess either an ACNP or AG-ACNP certification, or be a qualified Physician Assistant.
Required Certifications:
ACLS/BLS Certification is mandatory. Experience in Neuro Critical Care is highly desirable.
NIHSS certification is also required.
Preferred Experience:
Background in Neuro Critical Care or Vascular Neurology is advantageous.
Candidates should have graduated from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program. Current licensure in the State of Georgia as an Advanced Practice Provider is essential.
