Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team on a PRN basis at one of our hospitals in Georgia.
Responsibilities- Provide ER consults and admissions for patients with neurological conditions.
- Manage inpatients and respond to RN calls, conducting bedside patient assessments as needed for patients in the Neuro ICU, Ortho/Spine, and acute care units.
- Answer overnight calls from outpatients with neurological conditions.
- Assist in the OR and place post-op orders for patients requiring emergency surgical intervention.
- Previous experience in Neurosurgery is preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.
- Current licensure in the State of Georgia as an Advanced Practice Provider.
