We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Critical Care team at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the healthcare of cardiology patients in the inpatient setting
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to patients and families
- Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges for cardiology patients
- Actively participate in the daily medical management of patients
- Become thoroughly competent in all aspects of stress testing
- Document, maintain, and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information in our EMR system (EPIC)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
- Previous APP cardiology critical care experience is preferred
