Job Title: Automation Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Automation Assembler to join our team at PEAK Technical Staffing USA. As an Automation Assembler, you will play a crucial role in building and delivering world-changing laboratory automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble automation workcells and custom engineering projects, configure electrical, pneumatic, and communications systems, and label and organize workcell wiring.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist with shipping and receiving components of our projects, ensuring they are properly unpacked, arranged, and secured.
  • Engineering Support: Assist the automation engineers with operational testing of instrumentation on projects.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience with hand tools, including cutting, drilling, and tapping aluminum or similar materials.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience working with extruded aluminum profile (such as 80/20) and moving, packing, and installing laboratory instruments.
Education and Training:
  • High School Diploma: A high school diploma is required, and a relevant trade-skill school degree is desirable.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a drive for quality are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings and use electric and pneumatic tools.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, are required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work under tables wiring for longer periods and perform light to moderate lifting.
