Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Student Services Advisor who is enthusiastic about guiding individuals toward successful careers through education. Reporting to the Director of Student Services, this role involves the development and implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing student success. The Student Services Advisor will oversee the onboarding process, orientation, ongoing communication, retention initiatives, and financial advising for a designated group of students.

Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and executing student success and retention initiatives, including engagement events.
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to align retention strategies.
- Facilitating re-entry campaigns for students who have paused their studies.
- Providing coaching and support through regular advising sessions.
- Monitoring and reporting on student experiences through various committees.
- Conducting welcome calls and technical support sessions for new students.
- Maintaining regular communication with current and former students to foster engagement.
- Organizing and leading student engagement activities such as orientations and graduation ceremonies.
- Performing additional related duties as required.
- Collaborating effectively with faculty and staff across departments.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with Campus Nexxus application is a plus.
- This position requires in-person attendance.
