Position Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to support our dynamic CEO in expanding our technology-driven business. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and promptness of our financial reporting and accounting practices. This role demands strong analytical skills, efficiency, and the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing accounting software solutions
  • Preparing and filing corporate tax returns and consolidating corporate accounts
  • Conducting financial statement analysis and reporting
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Advising on tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities
  • Responding to inquiries related to taxation and assisting during audits
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Identifying potential tax savings and recommending profit-enhancing strategies
  • Reviewing financial data for accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Preparing quarterly and annual tax documentation
  • Contributing to the development of company tax policies and strategies
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Facilitating monthly financial review meetings with executive leadership
  • Interpreting financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making
  • Acting as the primary liaison for the accounting department, fostering collaboration across teams
  • Resolving operational challenges and enhancing processes to meet key performance indicators

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Microsoft 365/SharePoint/Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-facility manufacturing environments, particularly international
  • Familiarity with Chinese markets; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
  • Background in engineering is advantageous
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a focus on thorough documentation
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
