About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Engineering Analyst to join our team at the Lower Colorado River Authority. As an Asset Engineering Analyst, you will play a critical role in the implementation of our essential infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret project charters, budget estimates, engineering drawings, and construction documents to identify and resolve new asset values and ownership.
  • Perform office research related to asset listings, historical engineering drawings, equipment databases, microfilm, inventory, electronic document management system (EDMS) records to identify removed assets.
  • Field research as required may involve various physical activities.
  • Prepare fixed capital unit (FCU) lists.
  • Provide quality assurance and quality control role related to engineering documents and processes.
  • Prepare sophisticated reports related to projects, work plans, equipment, and assets.
Requirements
  • Eight or more years of experience interpreting technical drawings/documents and performing technical analysis; drafting using computer-aided design software; or performing engineering design, including at least five years of experience performing engineering design or other relevant experience.
  • A degree in computer-aided design, engineering technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license.
