Asset Manager Opportunity at Cubico Sustainable Investments

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Asset Management Team at Cubico Sustainable Investments as an Asset Manager for Cubico USA.

Reporting to the VP of Asset Management, this role encompasses responsibility for asset management, financial control, business development, risk analysis, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract management and stakeholder engagement
  • Oftake and regulatory compliance
  • Asset performance analysis and optimization implementation
  • Technical and economical KPIs
Operations

Support US Asset Managers in managing the US 1GW solar and wind portfolio, focusing on:

  • Monitoring production and asset status
  • Tracking operational issues and liaising with site operators and O&M providers
  • Carrying out site visits to evaluate asset condition and quality of works
  • Ensuring project maintenance schedules are delivered on time and budget
Data Analysis

Collection, interpretation, and presentation of data from SCADA and fiscal meters in a summarized and concise manner.

  • Reporting and escalating under-performances or technical issues
  • Calculating KPIs and supporting performance valuation
Reporting & Administration

Support the US Asset Management team in reporting activities and ensure project files are up-to-date.

Commercial & Financial

Liaise with the financial team to track costs and revenues, familiarize with individual project contracts, and provide support on budget and actual calculations.

Requirements
  • Minimum: Degree in Engineering or a hard science, Physics, or similar
  • Proven experience in the renewable industry with data analysis experience
  • Ability to review and reassess priorities in response to changing situations and deadlines
  • Desire to self-develop and create organizational value
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills - fluent English
Desired Requirements
  • Previous experience in Asset Management or Operations
  • Awareness of Health and Safety requirements of an operational site
  • Understanding of contracts and basic financial skills
