Assistant Program Director (APD) Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Our team at S:US is committed to providing high-quality services that promote independence and self-determination.

About the Role:
  • Promote the independence and self-determination of individuals using person-centered practices.
  • Manage the holistic healthcare, nutrition, and wellness of individuals.
  • Ensure the coordination of recreation and community activities that promote participation and independence.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in a related field or five years of experience in ID/DD or supervisory/management experience.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Certifications such as AMAP; SCIP-R; CPR & First Aid are preferred but not required.
