Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor II to join our team at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor construction staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on project management and supervision.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and timeliness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
