About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Manager to join our team at Amedisys Holding, LLC. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our home health care centers, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and clinical performance of our nurses and aides.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recommend employment decisions for staff to the director of operations, including hiring, firing, advancing, promoting, or changing status.
  • Oversee the overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
  • Organize clinical operations for the care center, including reviewing requests for services and determining patient eligibility/suitability for home care services.
  • Work with intake to coordinate patient referrals and admissions, and oversee scheduling.
  • Ensure payor verification and precertification requirements are met, and review documentation of other staff members to resolve missing, incomplete, or untimely documentation issues.
  • Assist clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals, setting priorities, and developing the Plan of Care (POC).
  • Regularly evaluate the needs of patients and make necessary revisions to the plan of care in collaboration with clinicians.
  • May provide direct patient care on an infrequent basis in times of emergency, and participate in the on-call process.
  • Assist with training of staff to ensure quality care, compliance, and fiscal responsibility, and participate in the investigation and resolution of patient/family/physician concerns.
Requirements
  • One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
  • One year of RN management experience.
  • Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
