Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist II to join our team at Johns Hopkins HealthCare. As a key member of our multidisciplinary health care team, you will be responsible for promoting wellness, maintaining current health, and intervening in acute or chronic illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the health care team to provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication recommendations, order review and verification, and code response.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team within the Emergency Department to provide staffing and support.
  • Provide education to patients, students, residents, and pharmacists on medication use and other relevant topics.
  • Participate in code response and medication order review and verification for additional patient care areas outside of the Emergency Department.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm D. or BS degree.
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of clinical health-system experience or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland.
  • Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties or a certification deemed appropriate for the practitioner's practice setting.
