Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist II to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing clinical pharmacy services to patients in the Adult Emergency Department.

About the Role

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication recommendations, order review and verification, and code response.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and intervene in acute or chronic illness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Provide education to patients, students, residents, and pharmacists.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm D. or BS degree.
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of clinical health-system experience or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland.
  • Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties or a certification deemed appropriate for the practitioner's practice setting.
