Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair all avionics and electrical systems on aircraft.
- Demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn new electrical and avionics technologies.
- Regularly update the Department Manager and Supervisor on progress.
- Ensure all work is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.
- Complete all documentation daily in a clear and organized manner.
- Communicate any unresolved issues or repairs that cannot be completed promptly to the Department Manager or Supervisor.
- Report any discrepancies related to company tools and equipment to the Supervisor.
- Understand and adhere to the company’s work order and parts requisition processes.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Repair and calibrate shop equipment as required.
- Inspect avionics repairs and modifications as necessary.
- Assist in training and mentoring entry-level Avionics Repair Technicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Hands-on experience with the following aircraft systems:
- Autopilots
- Flight Management Systems
- Navigation and Communication Systems
- Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS)
- Aircraft Electrical Systems
- Lighting Systems
- Pitot and Static Systems
Avionics Technician, troubleshooting, avionics systems, avionics installation, wire harness expertise.
Additional Qualifications:
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Avionics.
- Experience with Aircraft Electrical systems.
- FCC Licensing.
